There, I Fixed It (GGJ 2020)

There, I Fixed It is an arcade-style choatic multiplayer game where four handymen compete to see who can repair the most objects in the house before the timer runs out. Each player has designated items that they are hired to repair. Keep your items repaired while breaking your opponents to win.

Made during the 2020 Global Game Jam with the theme “repair”.

I was a Game Fesigner and Level Designer on the project, and helped create several game assets in addition to lighting.

Level Design

Level Design in There, I Fixed It focused on player flow around the level. Each room was created to have at least 2 doorways and a single interactable for each individual colour (excluding the main room - which has 2 objects per colour). We ensured that there was a clear route through each room where doorways could not be body blocked preventing people from completing their tasks.
